Tenant Education

This program consists of 4 sessions lasting 1 hour each; covering budgeting, credit, tenant and landlord responsibilities, tenant law, how to be a good neighbor, and fair housing.

In addition to receiving renting considerations from participating landlords, clients who earn a Tenant Certificate are also eligible for follow-up assistance from local banking professionals to help them stay on task and trouble-shoot any financial issues.

Here is the 2017 Tenant Education schedule:

  2. Tenant Rights – 2nd Friday of each month at 10 a.m. at HomesteadCS.
  3. Budgeting – 3rd Friday of each month at 10 a.m. at HomesteadCS.
  4. Credit – 4th Friday of each month at 10 a.m. at HomesteadCS.

To complete the course and earn a Tenant Education Certificate, clients must attend all four classes. Classes are free and open to the public. Registration is required.
